Vancouver will host the winter Olympics in two years, which is expected to be a boom not just to the city but the region. That’s plenty of time for their 1,500 sex workers to get a Co-op brothel set up. In addition to getting sex workers into a safer environment you give them education and skills.
The West Coast Cooperative of Sex Industry Professionals sent papers for incorporation which arrive in the mail this week. So far the co-op has 13 directors, including prostitutes, porn stars and exotic dancers. A North American Amsterdam is slowly developing giving even more reason to get there.
