M. A. S. S. I. V. E.

Too much is just enough at this ragefest. What a party! Live Funk by some of the genre’s pioneers, Parliament/Funkadelic, had the Crown Room pumped with energy. Then Dr. Adam took care of business throughly with his mix of Hip Hop, Dubstep, Club, Hyphy and Fuck IT! The place was a mad house. The speakers were the loudest I’d ever heard them. The place was filled with swaying swinging arms legs and heads on tables, chairs and the stage. This was the kind of night that had the dance floor filled with shaking, making out, hair wapping you in the face, everyone bumping into everyone, elbows, drinks and tits. Everyone laughing, yelling and singing. A ton of pure party.

I must admit, I’ve slept on this too too long. I know now where to rank this Portland monthly. Also the visual arts were represented by uber-talented Raskoe painting a HUGE piece throughout the night. A great addition is having an MC. Ronin Roc was just channeling all the excitement and energy by making sure there was a human to connect with. Rapping along with songs more ferocious than the original. That was as close to Renegade’s standard of parties, Seattle’s SING SING, as it gets. By the end of the party the club seemed to be filled with smiling and beats and laughing and dancing and yelling and drinking. A frenzy of fun. Exactly what a party is suppose to be, what MASSIVE is.
